Current short and longer\u00a0term trends in this area, as well as factors which impede technology adoptionin higher education will also be discussed . \u00a0The presentation is largely based on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmc.org\/publication\/nmc-horizon-report-2017-higher-education-edition\/\">reports by New Media Consortium<\/a>, which annually publishes\u00a0an analysis report of the field. \u00a0After the presentation we can\u00a0 discuss what these developments mean in the context of the Aalto\u00a0University.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Slides of Lauri Malmi&#8217;s talk is presented <a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelearning.aalto.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2017\/08\/Future-visions-7.9.2017.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\">\n<p><em>A!OLE Forum is a series of open events\u00a0organised\u00a0by Aalto Online Learning project.\u00a0The talks in the A!OLE Forum are 30 min, followed by 30 min discussion.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Schedule:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>10:30-11:00 Enjoy Robert&#8217;s coffee and\u00a0croissant.
