There was a clear peak in the week March 22 to March 28, and as of May 11 the trend is still very strong. <a href=\"https:\/\/trends.google.com\/trends\/explore?date=today%205-y&amp;q=online%20learning\">Please check it out yourself at Google Trends, and pay also attention to where the searches originate from.<\/a>\u00a0The reason for the trend is obviously the covid-19 pandemic and how it has made online learning and remote instruction mainstream in a very short period of time.<\/p>\n<p>We have also evidenced this at onlinelearning.aalto.fi.
