Overview

The goals of this pilot are the following:

  • to create a pure web-based course that is part of the mandatory courses for the Master in Marketing
  • to share the project outcome (teaching videos, assessment methods) with my colleagues, as well as the experiences I made and the technical knowledge I obtained
  • to relieve colleagues’ technology anxiety, when necessary and (in)directly encourage greater supply of Blended Learning Resources at the Department of Marketing
  • in the long run, to determine the success of the course (i.e., the positive impact on students’ learning) to decide whether other courses should be offered as pure web-based
  • to establish and encourage cooperation between Hanken School of Economics and Aalto, to foster knowledge and resource exchange between the two institutions (also going forward
  • in later project stages, to make the course also accessible to learners outside Aalto and Hanken School of Economics and thereby increase the visibility of Aalto
