This presentation discusses pedagogical scripting in the context of computer supported collaborative learning. Scripts are activity programs that aim to facilitate collaborative learning by specifying activities in collaborative settings, eventually sequencing these activities and assigning the activities to individual learners. Scripts may instruct learners in how to deal with their task (epistemic scripts), or they may tell the learners how they should interact with the other learners (social scripts). Presentation will start with an introduction to pedagogical scripts, followed by a demonstration of the MURDER script in Valaa environment (http://valaa.com). Participants in the audience with laptops may join the interactive demonstration.
