The next Aalto Online Learning video training is organised in June, 2019. This training week is targeted especially to our 2019 pilots who are doing video production, but we also welcome other people who are interested and would like to participate!
During the training week, we will cover everything from script writing to copyrights and video presentation skills. You will also have a chance to record a video for a course or to practice.
WORKSHOPS:
June 4, Johanna, Learning Centre
13:00 – 14:00 – Script writing for video lectures by David Derichs. In this interactive workshop you will learn to efficiently write an effective script that allows you to reduce exhausting studio time (especially retakes) to a minimum. The workshop focuses on actionable tips and tricks rather than theory.
14:00 – 16:00 – Copyrights with Maria Rehbinder. In this workshop we will cover issues related to copyright, especially questions relating to use of text, videos, images and Creative Commons. Learn how to use materials make by others and know your rights for the materials you produce.
June 5, Johanna, Learning Centre
14:00 – 16:00 – Video presentation skills by Christa Uusi-Rauva. In this workshop you will get tips on presenting and practice giving short presentations in front of the camera followed by feedback.
June 6, Mini-studio, Learning Centre
9:00 – 15:00 – Book a 30 min or 60 min slot. Come and record any video you like, whether for your course or just to practice being in front of the camera. Aalto Studios will take care of video shooting and editing.
