Overview

Our pilot aims to produce basic calculus online course materials with interactive components as follows:

  • Course materials with animated visualizations, which allow the student to experiment e.g. with different parameters, and learn how they affect the given system
  • Automatically assessed exercises that adapt to the answers given by the student
  • In particular, exercises, in which a wrong answer automatically leads to more detailed questions, requiring the student to review the theory more carefully

Pedagogical methods

Adaptive and automatically assessed exercises, where the progression of an exercise depends on the students’ answers interactively
