VR Hub: Embodied Interface

Wednesday, 28 Nov 2018 15:00 - 16:00 Vilho, Learning Centre Otaniementie 9 Public event

What if we could get rid of mouse and keyboard when controlling computer-generated content? The very essence that separates VR from other mediums is the embodiment to the virtual world it allows. This means that with virtual reality, your body can become the interface for interaction inside the simulation. This more familiar and natural way of controlling the computer-generated environment is partly what makes VR so immersive.

In this VR Hub Session, we lift up our heads from the mobile-phone screens for an hour and release our thumbs for more holistic way of being. Come to embody this session to get more familiar with some of the most thrilling full-body experiences VR has to offer!
