The Department of Applied Physics is now looking for a
Research assistant to Climate.Now Aalto online learning project
A student is wanted to work part-time with the Aalto Online Learning Climate.now project. Student will assist in accomplishing a fully online course implementation of the Aalto Climate.now course. The work is suitable for all Aalto students with good IT skills, preferably for a master student but also motivated candidate students may apply. The work is supervised by post-doc researcher Sanna-Liisa Sihto-Nissilä.
We expect from you:
– good IT skills, experience on MyCourses platform is an advantage but not a necessity
– completing Climate.now course considered an advantage (https://mycourses.aalto.fi/course/view.php?id=27001 )
– interest in development of university education
Your duties
Inserting Climate.now exercises and other material to the MyCourses platform, implementing automatic checking functionalities (together with the supervisor)
Duration and salary
Time: starting 1.11. or when agreed, weekly working time max 14 h/week
Full length of the position: 1,5 months
Salary: according to the Aalto University salary system
