The goal of this pilot is to develop online learning material for computer-aided weaving. This learning material will be linked to a master level course, Advanced Woven Fabrics and Jacquard Workshop held in Fashion, Clothing and Textile Design programme. The new online learning material will provide ways to better understand advanced shaft loom structures and computer-aided weaving with blended learning method.

The project aims to create an online learning material that is easy to follow independently, and that can later be developed and expanded to other weaving courses as well as a supportive learning material. In practice, the created material will consist of introductory written online lectures, screen recording video tutorials of the software, and a supportive material folder with woven samples of each lecture.
