Testing Textiles

Overview

The goal of this pilot is to develop online learning material about testing textiles. This learning material will be linked to a bachelor level course, Textile and Dyeing Technology, which is an introductory course to the subject. The new learning material will introduce blended learning methods to the course and provide the students a perspective to textile testing, which is tailored to the design students.

The project aims to create an online information package that can easily developed and expanded later on. In practice, the created material will consist of short animated mini “lectures”, videotaped laboratory tests, and some videotaped interviews.
