Overview

This pilot is based on an existing course about Product, Fashion and Interior design professions. The aim is to build a blended learning course entity in MyCourses, that will support students’ independent work with logical timing, instructions and tutorials. Different assignments during the course will pace student’s learning. Students pondering of the subject matter, their own professional orientation and setting up their goals is supported. A logically and carefully thought teaching entity and course manual, where the needs for different guidance can be updated, if not anticipated, support also the teacher in their work and diminish the workload. The students will learn the subject mainly by studying online materials and producing new material in teams. Out of the materials of the course, the students choose assignments based on their own interests. The aim of the blended learning implementation is to develop such an entity, whose timing and content will serve well all three majors of Design, Fashion and Interior architecture.
